After taking a look at a few more pictures of comet McNaught, we began a three-day activity on the Scale of the Universe.  Students began this project based on the TOPS Scale the Universe activity set by cutting out several small tabs of paper, each labeled with a different object – some large, some small.  Over the coming days, we will attach these object tabs to a scale that we will then be using later in the week on a quiz.  We will have more in-class work time for this scale project tomorrow.Homework for tonight:  Try to find Comet McNaught!  Read the thorough directions in yesterday’s post (Day 84) and report back with what you see!
