Day 129: Tsunami, Relative Aging Puzzles March 14, 2007
Posted by J Gontesky in Geology.trackback
Students quickly picked up on the geology relative aging puzzles in class yesterday so we corrected the worksheet at the start of class today. We then discussed areas in which there could be more than one solution when not enough information is made available. Students then began working on the Relative Aging Puzzle: The Big One (I’ll upload a copy over the weekend).
While students worked in pairs on that worksheet, the National Geographic Special: Tsunami was played. Students were able to watch about 15-20 minutes of the program while working on the relative aging puzzle. Most students turned in the puzzle by the end of the hour. For those that didn’t, it is due at the start of class when we return!
Have a great Spring Break!
